CCM JetSpeed FT880 Junior Shin Guards
CCM JetSpeed FT880 Junior Shin Guards deliver high-performance protection, comfort, and mobility for competitive young players. Built with lightweight materials and smart ventilation, they keep players cool and confident during intense action.
Multiple ventilation ports in both the shin cap and liner maximize airflow, while the anatomical JDP kneecap disperses impact energy away from the knee joint. The floating, compressed-molded mid-density foam calf guard offers lightweight durability, and the side protection features reinforced plastic inserts for added coverage. A low-profile lock strap combined with an adjustable calf strap ensures a snug, custom fit without sacrificing mobility.

| Size | Height [cm] | Shin length [cm] |
|---|---|---|
| 28cm | 132-142 | 28-30 |
| 30cm | 142-152 | 30-33 |
| 33cm | 152-163 | 33-36 |
To properly choose the length of shin guards, it is necessary to use a tailor's tape measure.
The most convenient way to measure is to sit in a chair with your knee bent at a 90-degree angle. Place one end of the tape measure on your ankle and the other end at the location just below your kneecap (the indentation). To avoid errors, measure several times on both legs.
Standard shin guard sizes are:
20 cm (8"), 23 cm (9"), 25 cm (10”), 28 cm (11”), 30 cm (12”), 33 cm (13”) 36 cm (14”), 38 cm (15”), 41 cm (16”), 44 cm (17”)
Differences may occur between the length of your shin and the dimensions of the shin guards. In such cases, consider how you wear the guards (on top of or under your tongue). An important factor, especially for young players, is whether you are still growing. In that case, it's a good idea to leave a 2-3 cm margin to avoid having to replace the guards during or even mid-season. However, keep in mind that if the shin guard is too small, the straps may restrict circulation and leave areas vulnerable to hits and other impacts. If the shin guard is too large, protection can be compromised by the movement of the guard.
