Ice Hockey Shin Guards Bauer Supreme MACH SR
Ice Hockey Shin Guards Bauer Supreme MACH SR
We present the latest product from the Bauer Supreme MACH SR protective line - hockey shin guards, dedicated to players who appreciate equipment that perfectly fits the body and ensures optimal mobility. The leading innovations of the MACH shin guards are the X-Flex Shield and the CURV Composite calf guard.
These shin guards have been created for the most demanding players, combining the comfort of fit with the highest quality protection. Several key technologies are responsible for their unique design: X-Flex Shield, CURV Composite, Thermo Core Zero, Active Motion Protection and the Comfort Lock Strap fastening system.
The flagship MACH model is distinguished by a particularly precise fit to the body, which is due to the ErgoDynamic Lab knee protector. Memory foam in the central part of the knee pad additionally increases comfort, while protecting the joint from injuries.
The MACH shin guards feature advanced Active Motion Protection technology. The anatomically formed AMP segmented tibial shield perfectly harmonizes with the player's movements. The use of an innovative solution - the hinged X-Flex Shield where the tongue of the skate meets the protector - provides additional freedom of movement.
The MACH shin guards also feature a unique fastening system. The use of the Comfort Lock Strap and the wide calf strap ensure that the shin guards adhere perfectly to the legs, which translates into maximum protection and performance during the game.
Inside the shin guards there is a removable insert with molded air channels and Skate Zone technology that provides the highest level of comfort and protection. This insert harmonizes with the market-leading Thermo Core lining, which further increases the comfort of wearing, and thanks to the moisture-wicking properties, it keeps the protectors light during intense meetings on the ice.
Bauer Supreme MACH are shin guards created for the elite - players who practice 4-5 times a week and need top-shelf equipment. However, regardless of the level of advancement, any hockey player who wants to experience the highest quality protective equipment will appreciate their unparalleled properties.
Size | Height [cm] | Length [cm] |
---|---|---|
38cm (15'') | 170-180 | 43,5-46 |
41cm (16'') | 175-185 | 46-48,5 |
43cm | 180-195 | 48,5-51,5 |
To properly choose the length of shin guards, it is necessary to use a tailor's tape measure.
The most convenient way to measure is to sit in a chair with your knee bent at a 90-degree angle. Place one end of the tape measure on your ankle and the other end at the location just below your kneecap (the indentation). To avoid errors, measure several times on both legs.
Standard shin guard sizes are:
20 cm (8"), 23 cm (9"), 25 cm (10”), 28 cm (11”), 30 cm (12”), 33 cm (13”) 36 cm (14”), 38 cm (15”), 41 cm (16”), 44 cm (17”)
Differences may occur between the length of your shin and the dimensions of the shin guards. In such cases, consider how you wear the guards (on top of or under your tongue). An important factor, especially for young players, is whether you are still growing. In that case, it's a good idea to leave a 2-3 cm margin to avoid having to replace the guards during or even mid-season. However, keep in mind that if the shin guard is too small, the straps may restrict circulation and leave areas vulnerable to hits and other impacts. If the shin guard is too large, protection can be compromised by the movement of the guard.
