How to Choose the Right Size for Bauer XR Junior Skates?
- Ask your child to wear the socks they plan to use while rollerblading (or similar in thickness).
- Place a sheet of paper on the floor, preferably against a wall, and have your child place their foot so that their heel touches the edge of the paper.
- Ask someone to mark with a pen or marker (held vertically) at the longest toe and the end of the heel, this will help you accurately measure the foot length.
- Remove the foot from the paper and measure the distance between the marked points in centimeters. Repeat this step for the other foot.
- Select the Bauer XR Junior skate size based on the longer of the two measurements. Always choose a size that is equal to or slightly larger than the measured foot length – never smaller.
- Once the skates are on, tie them securely as you would for skating. If the skates are not tied properly, they may feel too tight or too loose.
By following these steps, you can select the size that ensures comfort and safety for your child while skating!
Note! If you want the skates to last longer for your child, you can opt for a slightly larger size, but no more than one size larger. Skates that are too big may increase the risk of injury and hinder the development of skating skills.
